Environmental Code

This publication is a reference document in the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government’s ‘Quarries and Ancillary Activities – Guidelines for Planning Authorities’ and in the EPA ‘Environmental Management in the Extractive Industry (Non Scheduled Minerals) – Guidelines for Operators’.

Code of Practice for Transport Operations

This code is designed to educate all concrete industry transport operators, owners and drivers on how they can successfully fulfill their legal obligations. Guidance is given on how to comply with all traffic legislation when delivering construction materials from quarries, pits and concrete manufacturing plants.
